Project description

In my project I study the downstream genetic regulation in the moss plant Physcomitrella patens. I investigate the role of new endogenous terminators in gene expression and their combination along with new and synthetic sequences in order to adjust cutting edge strategies within bioengineering. The goal is to achieve a better income in production platforms with regard to the synthesis of high-value proteins and chemicals for downstream innovative applications that will have excellent significance in bioeconomy.
